Catholic Relief Services was founded in 1943 by the Catholic Bishops of the United States. Our mission is to assist the poor and disadvantaged, leveraging the teachings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to alleviate human suffering, promote development of all people, and to foster charity and justice throughout the world.

Working through local offices and an extensive network of partners, CRS operates on five continents and in 98 countries. We aid the poor by first providing direct assistance where needed, then encouraging people to help with their own development. Together, these approaches foster secure, productive, just communities that enable people to realize their potential.

As the official international relief and development agency of the U.S. Catholic community, CRS is also committed to educating the people of the United States to fulfill their moral responsibilities toward our global brothers and sisters by helping the poor, working to remove the causes of poverty, and promoting social justice.

The Columbus Italian Festival

The Columbus Italian Festival, is presented by Saint John the Baptist Italian Catholic Church and celebrates our Italian-American culture.

The Columbus Italian Festival provides fun for the entire family. Enjoy live entertainment, open-air markets, Italian dancing, children’s area and plenty of fabulous Italian food.

Mission Statement
We exist to support, strengthen and help maximize the spiritual growth of men of the Catholic Church through prayer, scripture reading, communication and networking men together by sponsoring gatherings for all men. To promote the work of Columbus Catholic Men and other Catholic Organizations to help men grow in the following areas: Living as a Catholic Man, Marriage and Family, and Spiritual Life.

Columbus Catholic Men (CCM) seeks to promote men’s ministries within the diocese of Columbus, Ohio. CCM is working with several existing ministries in an effort to combine efforts and resources to better serve the men of our diocese through ministry and evangelization. Representatives from many faith-sharing groups have worked together to create a mission statement that clearly articulates CCM’s intent to serve the men of this diocese.
